This study proposes the development and implementation of an active breaks manual, which will consist of a series of exercises and routines designed to be integrated by teachers during school hours. The aim is to interrupt the daily routine and provide moments of respite, with the expectativos of improving students' participation and interest in the educational process. To assess the effectiveness of the manual, a qualitative approach will be adopted. An initial classroom observation will be conducted, followed by the implementation of active breaks. Subsequently, a focus group with teachers and students will be carried out to gather their perceptions and evaluate the impact of the active breaks compared to classes without these interruptions. It is anticipated that the implementation of active breaks will result in a significant improvement in students' well-being and their active participation in class. Keywords: Active Breaks, Academic Performance, High School, Physical Activity
