63AbstractTo begin this investigation, a systematic and in-depth literature review has been conducted to clarify the research topic and the problem to be addressed. The problem addressed in the research focuses on Physical Education as a constitutional right in Colombia and its impact on the holistic development of individuals. Challenges such as the lack of specialized teachers and the limited perception of its importance in the curriculum are evident, leading to deficiencies in the field of physical education and directly affecting students' motor and social development. Therefore, the research aims to recognize the influence of physical education on motor and social development in 4 public schools in Armenia, Quind%u00edo, through a qualitative methodology and an ethnographic complementary approach. Based on this, possible outcomes include identifying the current state of physical education classes in the municipality's institutions, revealing the current trends of physical education within the municipality and the department, and enabling reflection in the field of physical education to provide a transcendent, collective, and educational perspective that strengthens the area.
